Telly Savalas: I can remember stealing a sled out of Macy’s department store one holiday when I was about nine years old. The sled was twice my size and when a cop saw me with it, he stopped me and asked, “Where ya’ goin’ with the sled, kid?” I told him Santa gave it to me and he said, “OK, kid, Merry Christmas.” And it sure was. Don Drysdale: I was about ten years old and my sister gave me the mumps. I’ll never forget that Christmas! Robert Stack: I remember the Christmas I got my first bicycle without training wheels. I was about five or six years old, couldn’t speak English since I spoke only Italian and French…that is still very memorable.
